Banks Brothers' Ranch

The Banks Brothers' Ranch was started in 1973 by Steve and Paul Banks,  brothers and sons to Stella and William Banks.  Steve and Paul grew up near Sheridan Montana with their other brothers and sisters and graduated from Twin Bridges High School.  During school and the first couple years after, they worked for various ranchers, working cattle and breaking horses.  In 1973 they bought their ranch ground on the East Bench between Twin Bridges and Dillon and some cattle and sheep and have been ranching there ever since.  In the 1990's they purchased the ranch that they grew up on from their parents to continue to farm and ranch that property.  Today the ranch owns and leases farm ground from the East Bench to Sheridan and runs primarily angus cross cattle.
