The Banks Brother Ranch raises hardy black and red angus cross cattle.  There are several benefits to raising Angus Cross Cattle.  Angus cattle are the most preferred cattle because of their excellent growth rates and producing high quality beef.  The crossbreeding helps to produce larger weights on weaned calves, better fertility and mothering by the cows and the ability to handle diverse climate changes.
